Well, they made me laugh, though not sure what that says about my sense of humour, either!!

Like the juxtaposition....flowery background and scary dolls.

This is just about the best journal page I've ever seen. I know what you mean about some dolls freaking you out. For me it's the Bratz dolls. I love what you've done here. Fantastic.

Oh I do love a nice pickled baby but can never manage a whole one ROFL The page is FAB... those jars remind me of the Body Worlds exhibition by Gunther von Hagens I went to see a few years ago in Brick Lane... it was too fascinating to be gruesome but just a teensy bit disturbing if anything...you have got the recipe right on this one though, like Sue said, flowers and scary dolls.. perfect!

I'm exactly the same with dolls, those old Victorian porcelain faced ones terrify the living daylights out of me, I can't be in a room with one.

But somehow the pickled babies, as you say, are SO gross as to be horror-movie-fun :)

love them, and the page.

these are the coolest. this url is immediately going into the list of my favorites with lots of asterisks. i check your blog frequently because i like your art. now you have raised the bar. the pickled babies are astounding. i did some pickled aliens cards but that isn't a big deal. pickled babies are off the chart and that is a great place.
