Happy Hallowe'en candlestick

This year I have made so little for Hallowe'en I'm getting withdrawal symptoms! With one thing and another I've had no time but I have managed to make this candlestick.

He started life as a ceramic money box............I painted it with several layers adding extra to the teeth and eyes..........................
.......gave him a hat made from a little flan case and a cream horn tin................with painted lace, feathers and crystals added around and underneath............

.........on top of the candlestick is a hook thingy that came with a dress form................and hanging from it are dolls arms....of course......every self respecting Hallowe'en candle stick needs hanging arms!
......more little skulls on a wire fence around the bottom............................

The skull piece just sits on top of the candle stick so it can be removed and a candle added!
HAPPY HALLOWE'EN!!

love the dolls arms! It does amuse me thinking of what your neighbours must think when they pop round for a cuppa :)

I have a whole necklace of skulls sitting here for you! (they must be a couple of inches in height, bizarre!) I spotted them in Manchester the other day :) You can indulge in halloween-ness to your heart's content once the kitchen's done lol.

Too spooky for me... But totally your style. If I would encounter that guy sitting on my nightstand I would scream my head of. But maybe that would be your ultimate goal... ;o)))) Very fitting for Haloween and scary as hell... Well done!

Ok I'm trying again as spell check massacred my comment!

Wow! That is über spooky :)
I love the arms. At first glance I thought they were chili peppers - and that would work well too for the Day of the Dead ....

Happy Halloween :)
