These two pieces are meant to be side by side as they are a double spread in quite a big journal (wouldn't fit under the scanner!) but blogger in its wisdom seperated them and put them one under the other....gggrrr!! why does it do that???? Ok moan over..........got back yesterday from two days of workshops withDINA WAKELY. Dina was teaching atART FROM THE HEARTstudio which is inHARROGATE.....home ofBETTYS TEA ROOMS.....can't go to Harrogate and not go to Bettys..so we did.......Ok, getting side tracked!.......AFTH run byDYAN REAVELEY These are some of the pieces that I made in the two days.........of course I am only showing you the ones I am pleased with so far, some of these still need some more work but there are several that need lots more work on them! But that's OK, that's what a workshop is all about!
Stunning work Sue: what an inspiration, you have a rare talent ;o) I think the reason the pics are not side by side is the resolution is too high to fit them in, I resize mine to around 600 across and they fit OK, you should be able then to drag them to be next to each other: good luck! I know how frustrating blogger can be at times lol!
Stunning pages- the rich colors and wonderful blending really pull you in. Beautiful creative art throughout your blog. I enjoyed my first visit and look forward to returning!
Hi Fred, hows you...recovered yet from the adulation of your many adoring fans..??? ha ha , you can,t go anywhere these days can you. Loved your stuff babe xx
Hi - I just stumbled on to your site. Very intriguing. I also visited the Designers Challenge site. I'm a new blogger and still trying to figure everything out. I really enjoyed seeing your work, thank you.
Hello and welcome!
I like to travel and I'm incurably curious. I love my garden and I like to make things,
I like altered art and mixed media and have a leaning towards the slightly darker, weirder side of things....as you may notice!

These look fabulous! I'm so envious - I couldn't go to the workshops 'cos I had to go to work *sigh*. The colours and textures here are just fab :-)
Me, jealous? Yep, sure am...
love the merging colours and the shadows of the figure outline.
Haunting in a friendly way...does that make sense to you?
Love the dotty concentric circles too.Great texture.
How long before the big move? Not too far away I bet now.
These are gorgeous. They've inspired me too!
