STEAMPUNK...........an aesthetic movement based around the science fiction of a future that never happened.
I LOVED working on these journal pages.........not sure if it's very clear, there is a drawing of a train engine in the background. Over the top is a dressform from CHARACTER CONSTRUCTIONS and die cut wings from SIZZIX, leaves from STUDIO 490 (Wendy Vechi), clocks from PAPERARTSY.
All stamps etc available from THE STAMP ATTIC.

Wow what a brilliant steampunk art Sue. Absolutely great details. Oustanding work. Love them.
I know that paper in the background LOL. Love those wings, didn't know Sizzix did them and the dressform is fab, you used that at the weekend too didn't you on your Steampunk book. This dressform really lends itself to the Steampunk theme. Great piece Sue. Tracy x
Loved watching this piece come together Sue and thanks for a great few days too. This is an amazing page, full of interest and each time I look there is another piece I did not see last time. Must get those Sizzix wings online........
Love this, going back for another look now.
Great fun Sue - have been gathering bits & bobs to make a Steampunk-ish project - this is lovely to see for inspiration ! Ali x

OMG I love this Sue.
This is FAB Sue! I haven't seen those Sizzix wins before, better hide my bank card lol!
The subtlety of the background make the main elements really prominent on the page!

Absolutely brilliant, Sue. I still can't get my head around Steampunk, so this does actually help. Love the idea of it.
