.........the Hallowe'en season that is!
I know I am quickly running out of time where I can still reasonably show Hallowe'en/Day of the Dead/skully type stuff so I am posting this piece even though I am not happy with some aspects of it! One aspect I was not happy with was the pics..........could not get a good shot, partly because it is a very dull day here so had to use the flash and it reflected off the metal.
This is a book.......I hope you can sort of tell that? That was the other main thing that I don't like about this piece, the binding and the book pages are not up to scratch! Partly because I don't have access to decent paper for the pages so had to use printer paper and I just couldn't get it to work how I wanted.....so am not showing that part of the book. At a later date I will take it apart and re-do it!
So, the book covers are made with black metal and a Ten Seconds Studio mould.
Little skull beads hung on the ends of the binding threads.
Detail of the back and the back cover itself.
The black metal was sanded to remove some of the black and then rubbed over with Stazon ink pads to give a little colour.

Wonderful work,Sue. This certainly gives me inspiration to use the metal that I've had for over a year, now. Love the skulls.
Sue, I was only thinking about this Ten Second Studio Mould a few days back, wondering when you might use it and I love the fact you have created a book, looks fabulous with the hint of colours, almost jewel like. Enjoy your day, speak soon, Tracy x x
