This is a piano hinge book that I recently taught as a workshop and I thought I'd share it here as well.
It's decorated in a much simpler, cleaner style than a lot of my work, but then it is good sometimes to work in a different way!
A closer view of the skewer spine.
It's almost finished, it just needs some sort of binding around the top and bottom of the skewers to keep them in place.
These are the inside pages.
All stamps used are ELUSIVE IMAGES which are available from THE CRAFT BARN

What a beautiful book Sue. Lovely clean, fresh lines and fabulously decorated (despite me being just a tad biased towards EI stamps) you have created something that anyone would be proud to own!

Love the book Sue, your 'clean' approach works very well with the boards and pages. Decoration is so very effective too !!
This looks fab Sue - I think the simplicity of the design and the colours work perfectly ... I have been looking at those stamps for ages ... Do I really really need them? Probably!
this is beautiful. The stamping really stands out thanks to those beautiful colours

Those stamps are gorgeous - and you've used them beautifully!
Thank you Sue. I have been trying to work out this piano hinge binding for a couple of hours, when it suddenly struck me that I had seen one on your blog! Fantastic! It's lovely too, and has allowed me to go to sleep tonight. Neither Youtube nor wikipedia came up with anything, but you did.
