Be my Gothic Valentine!

Had another play with the wax crayon idea today...... a wet weekend and the rugby on TV means I get more time to play!
Anyway, I saw that the theme on Sunday Postcard Art challenge this week is
GOTHIC VALENTINE
......which appealed so I had a go.....only thing is I forgot there is a size restriction.....duh. I might just get away with it as each page in this small journal is 6"x4" which is the required size:)

This image is called AMERICAN GOTHIC so it was very appropriate for this!

Can you tell I REALLY like this wax crayon melting thing?
Only thing is I'm not sure this journal will ever close again......the wax ran into the spine amongst the pages!

Fantastic... I've always loved that couple - and now I love them even more! Being something of a V-Day grouch, this is a delightful detour from all the Cupids and redness!!

You crack me up! You're the only one I know who can make every event in life macabre :) .... Valentine's day lends itself quite well to this with all the hearts and redness ... Ew!

These doll head freak me out, and lots of people love 'em.

The macabre still effects me in odd ways some things I see beauty and others horror

I always love visiting you though lol

This is awesome Sue! Wow I love it. I'm loving the wax crayons being melted too on your pics on your blog. Shame they went into the spine though. Oh well. Lots of opening and closing will mould it out of the way or make it crumble and disappear! Hopefully it won't be too much trouble for you. Michelle x
