BUT I LOVE IT!
Well of course I do, I made it!!
Yesterday I bought these plastic skeletons and bats and spiders.
this is one of my moleskine journals......getting pretty fat and bent!
cut the head off the skeleton, the wings off the bat and the skull face off the ring and glue in place........I added the antlers (cut off the deer head) later!
And it became this!!
Now I can't take all the credit for this.......... I saw the idea over on ART BLISS BLOG.
THIS POST was my inspiration and there is a downloadable tutorial
As soon as I saw the packets of flat-ish skeletons I knew exactly what I was going to do with at least one of them!
My journal now has a pretty freaky cover!!

Fabulously scary!
Yowza, this is one scary creature! I am so glad to see your finished product and all the in-progress pics. This horned being looks as though he might be found enshrined in a neolithic cave painting. Great job!
love this figure Sue, like something out of a Dennis Wheatley novel. scary....
To use an American term....that is awsome!! Love it :)

Fabulous Sue, you would never know it started out as a piece of plastic. A great transformation. Tracy x

I love it too, reading your blog makes me feel ok about wanting to create things that are seen as 'childish' in some peoples eyes, your work is always free and inspirational.xx

That is great! How did you get the texture over the plastic parts? I must admit to buying some of those flat skeletons too..
