Portugal progress report

I thought I'd share some pics of the fun here in Portugal!
Here is Mr DeMeng wearing very fetching googles chopping my doll head in half...........
 .....the head in two pieces..........
 ......with her eyes poked out........
.....Mr DeMeng again, this time demonstrating his creepy baby paint technique.....

......ooohhhhh creepy!!!!!
This is my book cover with a metal shrine and doll head I bought at the flea market in Lisbon.......
.......shrine in place.......little light bulbs added and moulding paste as texture...................
......little doll head with eyes from the half head added with with washers......................
......the 2 doll heads after several paint applications................
.....book cover with lots of paint...............even more added after the pic was taken!!
OK, more later as the book progresses!

hmmm, I need to think about this. It's art for sure, but whether I like it is another thing. I like the dolls heads better before they get the freeky treatment... ;o)))
But I also can see that they might fit in your art because you seem to like the somewhat darker stuff. I will see what you do further. Glad to finally see something from Portugal! I am sure that you will come home with lots of inspiration...

Why am I not surprised that you're cutting a doll's head in half and poking its eyes out?

Look forward to seeing what comes out of this workshop :)
