THEME THURSDAY AND WORKSHOP SAMPLE

Something my friend Jo Capper-Sandon said on her blog the other day struck a cord, she was saying that the piece she was showing was made just using what was left on her desk, it made me think.

This morning I saw the challenge on Theme Thursday was to create a piece that is only 2"x4", in itself a challenge!

Well, I had to finish off a workshop sample this morning so thought I'd have no time to make something for the challenge. After the sample was finished I was clearing up and thought about what Jo had said................so..............here is my entry for this challenge made from only the stuff I had lying on my desk!!

And so here is the workhop sample I was working on that gave me the left over bits!

I will be teaching this next week on Thursday and Saturday at Paddys Stamping Place in Prestwich near Manchester, if anyone fancies joining in the fun then give Paddy a ring on 0161 798 5115.

If you look closely you can see what this started life as!!

Brilliant use of the bits and bob remnants on your desk! I love working that way ...glad you were inspired :0)
Wish I lived nearer as the session sounds excellent looking at the end result.

Wonderful use of what was just lying about :) I would think it's beautiful even not knowing that!

Beautiful with great colors! I have done the same thing for a while. Just using what is on my desk. It is amazing how well it works.

Looks Great Sue! And what a good idea of Jo's for inspiration - I shall check my desk tomorrow. Hope to see you at Paddy's for that workshop, am going to try tomorrow to swap a shift at work and get the day off. Have been making stuff with aluminium foil recently!
