As I seem to be a little bird obsessed lately it seemed another good opportunity to decorate one of the birds I bought a while ago.
So, here is my entry, not flying around at the moment but taking a bit of a rest on her nest, well it is Spring!
While I out on Friday buying spoons for my spoon flower canvas I also bought the cup and saucer for this project and in the same shop (Dunelm Mill) I found this fab feather braid. It comes in two sorts, this brown one and a black and white speckled one, it was a bit pricy at £5.99 a meter but it was perfect for the edge of my "nest" so I had to splash out!
A few twigs from the garden scattered on the saucer with some stamped tail feather leaves!
a very beautiful creation.
ReplyDeletelove your birdie
When I was a birdwatcher, we used to call hard-to-identify brown birds "LBJs" - Little Brown Jobs. I thought it was just us!
