I thought I was done with challenges this week but I was wandering around the challenge sites this morning seeing what everyone was up to when I spotted that the theme on
TGIF was "exotic birds". I have had this bird stamp for a while but not used it very much so thought I would have a play around.
Anyway, this took me so far outside my comfort zone I got scared!! I added the black edge which helped calm me down a little but this is just so much more colour than I usually use!! Despite that I quite liked the way it came out.
I love this Sue... but then I LOVE pink (the brighter the better!) LOL. Gorgeous bird image.
ReplyDeleteWow this is so wonderful and pretty.
ReplyDeleteFantastic bird. Love them.
Thanks Sue for your bird to TGiF.
I see what you mean, colours fairly un-Sue-like but nevertheless gorgeous - and isn't that what exotic should be - outside our comfort zone, different, "other"? I love it. Love the stamp too.
