Yesterday I went to a workshop taught by SARAH ANDERSON.......it was called "ADVANCED CARD TECHNIQUES"
I am not much of card maker these days so Sarah said why not apply the ideas to a journal page so that is what I did. I made one of my "cards" into a pocket for my journal by turning it side ways and sewing it in place. I also decorated the page itself with one of the ideas Sarah showed us.
Isn't this little character so cute.....oops I mean whimsical, I don't do cute!! He is CARROT by STAMPOTIQUE and is available from THE STAMP ATTIC
Having said that I don't do cards I did actually make just one during the workshop..........isn't that cloud of butterflies lovely? It is a cupcake wrapper from Hobbycraft.

wonderful, sue..........you do such great work......carrot never looked so good!!!
I found those wrappers a few weeks ago in Hobbycraft too.... they also make great stencils..... glad your having fun being home. Ciao
great going on incorporating one technique into another. love the background especially.
what's that in the top corner, like barbed wire? a stamp or doodle?
Monica
Monica asks what is in the top corner..........it is stitching done with a sewing machine......very randomly partly because it was hard to get the journal under the machine!!
OOh I think I like your work, very much, carrot is brilliant :) x
Wonderful art work, Sue. Great use of Carrot! Your butterfly card is fabulous.
