The theme on
Big Art Adventure today is bookmarks.............I just had to play along as I have a real soft spot for bookmarks, evidenced by the drawer full I have by my bed!! I try and buy a bookmark wherever I go as a reminder of the event or trip, they maske great cheap souvenirs.
Anyway, this is my entry.
The dangle on the end of the bookmark is an old radio valve, I found a box of them in a junk shop ages ago and without even knowing what they were at that point, bought them as they were fascinating and had such potential!!!

Now that's an expert bit of recycling - useful and beautiful too! Love the beading and good to have you with us in this challenge.

wow I wish I had your outlook of items...who would have thought a radio valve would make such an amazing bookmark! I can see jewellery in the same style too.
that is one ace tassle - I want one! brilliant idea recycling an old valve- bet a lot of people wouldn't even know what they are any more.
That is really lovely Sue, you have just reminded me I have some unused peyote beads, must find them.
