I really liked making the duct tape book the other day so today I made another one.......this time I actually used duct tape that I bought yesterday!
It is better than the packing tape:)
The covers are made from a recycled old book cover cut in half to make front and back covers for this book. Duct tape to bind them together.......
and old book pages for the pages of the new book, simply folded in half and held in place with a rubber band
I haven't bought a stamp in ages but saw these quirky hare stamps in my local craft shop yesterday so they came home with me
I haven't entered a challenge for a while but I spotted one on Kate Cranes blog the other day........the challenge site is FASHIONABLE STAMPING CHALLENGES and the theme is to make a journal page.....so I am entering this.
This is so fascinating! Thanks for sharing, I like the way you cut the book in half. Very cool.
ReplyDeletethese duct tape books are fab - I especially love how you've bound them with a rubber band - brill idea! My Mum loves 'hare' images, she'd love those stamps!
ReplyDeleteI will have to have a go at one of these Sue they look great fun. Love how,you cut the book,in half for the pages and bound with an elastic band, clever idea. You have used one of my favourite flower dies too which works so well with the hare image. Tracy x
ReplyDeleteI really like the idea of pages held in with an elastic band - I always worry with bound journals that I will mess up a page and be stuck with it.
ReplyDeleteThose hares are fab, aren't they.
You do know that Duct tapes comes in a multitude of wild patterns these days, right?
ReplyDeletep.s. extremely cool book!
ReplyDeleteJust got to love those bunnies!
ReplyDeleteReally cool, Sue.
ReplyDeleteI really must pluck up the courage and have a go at one of these - scared that it may not stop at one!
What a wonderful idea! I haven't seen one of these before. I love the saying that goes with it too!
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining in the fun at Fashionable Stamping Challenges.
