HOME TO ROOST
This started out as a tag that I was going to enter into the
SIMON SAYS STAMP AND SHOW challenge where the theme is TAGS but I got a bit carried away!
I also had in mind that I wanted to enter the TAKE A WORD challenge which has the word HOME this week. I like HOME as a theme and have had lots of occasions over this past year to ponder on that subject and wonder just what it means and where it actually is!
So, my tag ended up being incorporated into a canvas with a book cover roof! The bird cage is hanging free, not easy to see, attached to the pretend barbed wire along the edge of the roof. One point here......please don't think that I think that a birds home is a cage.......I DON'T! Far from it I think they should fly free, this just worked for this piece!! LOL
The letters for the words are cut from a magazine and in case you need to know the bird and plant stamps are by MEMORY BOX and available from THE STAMP ATTIC
Fabulous.. then it would be 'cos it's got a birdie! Love it!
