I tried very hard........

........to be a little more conventional.......well as conventional as Alice with pumpkins can be..............but I just couldn't do it so I GIVE UP......I ADMIT IT.......I like things a bit strange, a bit weird, a bit outside the box!
So this page (in my A4 journal) was going to be just Alice and some more of those stitched pumpkins that I said I was going to use again over quite a pale (for me) background with some stencilled leaves.........so far so good..................

.....then I decided to add the checkered border and Alice acquired a hat..........and then I spotted the pointing finger on a piece of GRAPHIC 45 steampunk paper and thought.....mmm....that might be fun.....it was!

Then came the birds............one at her feet, the other sitting on the pointy finger.............

 ......the stitched pumpkins..................

......these fish were on the same sheet of paper as the pointy finger......I think they fit in just perfectly........alongside the chandelier hanging in this strange place called a.................

Wonderful pages. May I ask the make of stencil and how it was applied without bleeding?

  10. Sue, your Oh, Alice! contributions have been truly FABULOUS! Thanks so much for playing along, you are really raising the bar! I appreciate all the effort you are putting into these challenges and your results are so inspiring. And hey, this is JABBERWOCKY, why would we BE here if we wanted to see soft and pretty and conventional, LOL! Plenty of that elsewhere! And seeing more of your stitched pumpkins along with a blue-lipped Octopode Alice just makes me really happy!
