HERE BE DRAGONS

It has always fascinated me why sailors used to think there were dragons beyond the horizon of what they knew? I mean like dragons were something they knew either?

So, when I saw the theme on Gothic Arches was "fantasy" this week I decided the dragons idea would be a fun one to use. I tried to get the feel of an old journal page so I burned one edge a little and scorched a patch in the centre.

Have had this charm for years and it fitted in perfectly for this piece.
